Biography

I am a Psychologist, Psychedelic Therapist, and Visual Artist. I combine a formal western training in clinical psychology with Indigenous perspectives learned by deep commitment to medicine work in Peru, Gabon, Ecuador, and Colombia. My general approach bridges theoretical frameworks from clinical psychology (e.g., Attachment Theory, Child Development, Object Relations) with the spiritual, alchemical dimensions of healing with traditional Amazonian and African (Bwiti) Plant Medicines.

Holding these polarities and working with the visual, non-verbal nature of many journey insights, i help clients integrate psychedelic experiences into tangible form in day-to-day life. I work with many artists and can help people find and develop their innate creative language.

I have worked with complex trauma and psychosomatic symptoms for 30 years, training in NYC on inpatient units, within the prison system, with combat veterans in the VA system, and with a full developmental range of children, adolescents, and adults.
