What happens if I don’t prepare or integrate?

Without proper preparation, the intensity and unpredictability of a psychedelic experience may be overwhelming. This could lead to anxiety, panic, or a “bad trip”.

Psychedelics can bring up intense emotions and thoughts. If you’re not prepared, you might struggle to process these emotions during the experience which could lead to emotional distress.

Lack of preparation might lead to unsafe or risky behaviours during the experience. This could include poor decision-making, accidental injuries, or dangerous situations.

Psychedelic experiences often provide insights and a shift in perspective. Without proper integration, these insights may be challenging to understand or apply in your daily life. Potential pitfalls may include ego inflation, spiritual bypassing, and ontological shock.
